with our hopes and dreams; or gathering support and resource for achieving our goals; we will experience movement forward,
and take one more step in the direction of our hearts desire.

INTRODUCTION TO SHAMANIC JOURNEYING

Journeying is an ancient self-empowering practice that can be used for personal healing and enrichment. With the use of a drumbeat, our brainwaves
slow to a trance state enabling access to the realm of spirit. Benefits include enhanced relaxation, personal empowerment, physical and emotional
healing, a way to explore dreams, building relationships with our helping spirits, and accessing information and help in solving problems.
In this 3 hour presentation, participants will receive an introduction to the history and method of shamanic journeying, and have the opportunity
to experience several journeys.
Bring an eye-covering or bandana, journal, blanket, and a snack.

WINTER-SUMMER 2008 CLASS CLOSED
SEVEN MONTH APPRENTICESHIP IN SHAMANIC HEALING
January-July 2008, Seattle, WA
With Michelle McKinney
Through a progression of information, experiential practices and initiations, participants will receive a
comprehensive training in primary shamanic healing techniques, balanced with building one's container as a
healer and developing solid relationships with personal and collective helping spirits.
The foundation in core shamanic healing and ceremony includes:
• Soul retrieval
• Extraction
• Transmuting toxic energy
• Healing with spiritual light
• Divination
• Death and dying
• Psychopomp (helping the deceased cross over)
This apprenticeship offers an integrative approach to shamanic healing arts for healers,
counselors, therapists and body workers who would like to incorporate working with the spiritual
cause of physical, mental and emotional symptoms into their practice.
We will weave in ethics, boundaries, protection, ritual, ceremony, aftercare and integration throughout
the training.
The group size is very small to allow for personal mentoring and training.
Location: Seattle
Time: 10:00-5:00 Saturday and Sunday
Schedule: One weekend each month, January-July, plus one weekday evening per month in-between session:
Jan 19-20, Feb 16-17, Mar 15-16, Apr 19-20, May 10-11, Jun 7-8, Jul 12-13
Tuition: $250 per weekend
A commitment to the entire program is required.
Prerequisite: You must be confident with your journeying skills and have
completed a weekend (or equivalent) workshop in basic core shamanic
journeying.
If you need a refresher, or learn how to journey for the first time,
